I'm Rachel Clayman, a professional audiovisual translator from the United Kingdom.

I translate from French and Spanish into English and offer media accessibility services in English.

I grew up in Reading, a town just outside London. I've lived in Montpellier, France, and in Santiago de Compostela, Valencia and Barcelona, Spain.

My international experience means that I have an in-depth understanding of the cultures of my source and target languages.

As well as all things languages, my passions include films, video games and travel.

Having worked both in-house and as a freelancer for dubbing and subtitling agencies, I know audiovisual translation inside out.

BA in English and French from the University of Leeds, awarded with First-Class Honours.
MA in Translation Studies from the University of Portsmouth, awarded with Distinction.
